Grade Six completes word lists 1-3 for summer reading (lists 4-16 completed during the school term).

Grade Seven completes word lists 17-19 for summer reading (lists 20-32 completed during the school term).

Grade Eight completes word lists 33-35 for summer reading (lists 36-46 completed during the school term).

The Elements of Style (Grade 8)

Read the introduction of the book and RULE 17:  Omit Needles Words. 

Bring your book to class on the first day, and be prepared to discuss RULE 17.
